«Kiltix®» Tick Collar for Dogs
Tool for combating parasites of dogs. Particularly relevant in the warm season (the period of increased activity of parasites). Available in sealed plastic bags placed in cardboard boxes. Dimensions: Kiltiks collar for dogs of large breeds (66 cm) for medium-sized trees (length 48 cm), as well as for dogs of small breeds (length 35 cm).
Kiltix collars contain the active ingredient flumethrin. Regarded as one of the world’s most effective tick killing treatments, flumethrin has a long and successful history in livestock tick treatments.
Flumethrin not only kills ticks, it repels them. Known as the “hot foot” effect, ticks are repelled before they have the chance to attach to your dog.
Kiltix collars work by releasing the flumethrin from the collar as a fine powder which is distributed around your pet’s body as it moves.
Kiltix provides cost-effective tick control for your dog and is available from your veterinarian, pet store or rural reseller store.
Kills and repels ticks for up to 4 weeks. Can be used with Advantage or PROGRAM or alone to prevent ticks. Used with Advantage or PROGRAM, you will get both flea and tick protection.
Dosage: Please note each dosage prevents ticks for a month. Dogs less than 33 lbs. require one tube monthly whereas dogs over 33lbs require 2 tubes per month.
For dogs less than 33 lbs.: Apply one tube of KILTIX as a spot between the shoulder blades or as a stripe to the dog's back.
For dogs more than 33 lbs.: Apply one tube of KILTIX as a spot between the shoulder blades or as a stripe to the dog's back AND a second tube as a spot directly in the front of the base of the tail or as a stripe to the dog's back.
FOR DOGS ONLY. DO NOT APPLY TO CATS.
Mode of Action: Non-systemic insecticide with contact action. Gives rapid knockdown, and has long residual activity. Controls fleas and other insect ectoparasites on the animal.
